Rogic's Celtic stunner named Scotland's best

Caltex Socceroo Tom Rogic memorable season with champions Celtic has hit another high after he won the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership Goal of the Season.

The 23-year-old took out the prize for his stunning last-minute winning goal against Kilmarnock in March, when he curled a 30-yard effort into the top corner of the net.

The brilliant strike already won the gong as Celtic’s Goal of the Year and has now been selected as the league’s best for the season by a fan vote on Twitter.

The Hoops celebrated their title success on Sunday night (AEST) with a final day 7-0 win over Motherwell, with Rogic scoring one and providing an assist in the rout.

He ends the campaign with 10 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Rogic’s fantastic form this season hasn’t gone unnoticed, with reports last week linking the Socceroos playmaker with a possible move the English giants Arsenal.

With Celtic’s domestic campaign now over, Rogic’s next assignment will be with the Caltex Socceroos for their highly-anticipated clash with England at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on May 28 (AEST).
