QUIZ: Can you name every Australian international who has played in Serie A?

Circati played the full 90 minutes in the stalemate at the Stadio San Nicola and will now aim to finish the season in first place as they currently lie three points clear of second-ranked Como.

The Crocati only needed a point from its remaining three matches to return to the top tier of Italian football for the first time since the 2020/21 season.

Circati had been an instrumental pillar in Parma's backline under Fabio Pecchia stewardship, starting 27 of his 28 appearances in Serie B. The centre-back also played every minute in his team's Coppa Italia run to the Round of 16.

Across all competitions this campaign, the 20-year-old has recorded 31 matches, scoring one goal.

He is set to join an impressive list of Aussies to have plied their trades in Serie A and will be the first to do so after Ajdin Hrustic's short spell with Hellas Verona.

Circati currently has a solitary cap with Australia which came in a superlative display against New Zealand last October in Brentford.
