Subway Socceroos defender Alessandro Circati has signed a contract extension with Serie A side Parma until the end of the 2028/29 season.
The 21-year-old is currently rehabbing a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained in training with Parma in September last year.
It is a show of faith from the Crociati, who value the auspicious centre-back very highly.
Circati played a fundamental role in helping the Emilia-Romagna club secure promotion to the top-flight last season and started the first four matches to open the 2024/25 Serie A campaign against the likes of Milan and Napoli.
He has four caps for Australia, the last of which occurred back in September's FIFA World Cup 2026™ qualifier against Indonesia.
Circati first joined the Gialloblu in February 2021 with the Primavera squad before quickly progressing into the first-team and making his Serie B debut.
In a message to fans on social media following his extension, Circati said: "Hello guys, I'm very happy to announce my contract renewal with Parma Calcio until 2029."
Parma sit two points above the relegation zone after snapping a seven-game winless streak with a 2-0 victory over Bologna.
