The draws for both the ASEAN U16 and U19 Boys’ Championship 2024 were completed in Indonesia on Thursday evening.
The ASEAN U16 Boys Championship pits Australia in Group C against Malaysia, Thailand, and neighbours Timor-Leste. The tournament kicks-off in Indonesia on the 21st of June and will close on the 4th of July.
Australia have emerged as tournament champions on two occasions (2008, 2016) and will participate in it's 9th edition in 2024.
Thursday's draw also saw the tournament path for the Young Socceroos. In the ASEAN U19 Boys Championship, the Aussies will face Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam in Group B.
This tournament, also held in Indonesia, will see Australia battle to be the most successful side in the competition's history, with the Aussies crowned as champions five times (2006, 2008, 2010, 2016, 2019). The U-19 cup will take place between the 17th-29th of July.
