Aussies abroad: crucial K-League win, Topor's nightmare
Adrian Leijer and Bruce Djite have kept their hopes of avoiding relegation from the K-League with Suwon FC alive after a crucial win at Seongnam this morning. But Nikolai Topor-Stanley had a match to forget in the Arabian Gulf League.
Leijer and Djite both played the majority of the match at the Seongnam Tancheon Sports Complex, holding on for a 2-1 win thanks to a goal from Jong-Gook Kim and an own goal.
The result means Suwon still have a slight hope of avoiding the drop heading into the weekend’s final round.
