It’s now 10 points from a possible 12 for Luongo’s men, who host Norwich City next Sunday at 2.30am.
James Meredith played 79 minutes for Millwall before being substituted for Tom Elliot.
In Saudi Arabia, Caltex Socceroos shot stopper Brad Jones played a full game for Al-Nassr and kept a clean sheet as the Saudi Arabian giants beat Al Qadisiyah 3-0.
Former Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa hit a hat-trick for the early Saudi Pro League pacesetters, who have now won three matches on the trot with Jones between the sticks.
Former Newcastle Jets goalkeeper Jack Duncan and Melbourne Victory defender Rhys Williams played full matches for Al Qadisiyah.
