Following a friendly win and defeat against Ecuador during the March window, the Subway Socceroos have dropped two places to 29th in the latest FIFA World Rankings.
The Aussies ended last year in 27th place, their highest ranking since March 2012 (20) and best position to end a calendar year since 2011 (23), following its incredible FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ run.
However, the Green and Gold have now moved back two spots.
Graham Arnold's men prevailed past La Tri 3-1 in Sydney before succumbing to a 2-1 loss in Melbourne four days later, while handing out four debuts in total across the two matches.
Australia remain the fourth-best ranked AFC nation behind Japan (20), IR Iran (24) and Korea Republic (27).
The next FIFA World Rankings will be published on 20 July.
