Caltex Socceroo Good scores for Newcastle United
In encouraging news, Caltex Socceroos defender Curtis Good has continued his recovery from long-term injury by scoring for Newcastle United’s U-23 team overnight.
Good netted the Magpies’ first goal in their 4-2 win over Aston Villa’s in a Premier League 2 match at St James' Park.
After Villa had taken an early lead, the 23-year-old got on the end of Callum Roberts’ free-kick on 12 minutes to plant his header into the corner of the net to level the scores.
