Caltex Socceroos: Group B overnight results wrap

The Caltex Socceroos defeated UAE on Tuesday night, but top-two nations Japan and Saudi Arabia also won as the race for top-two automatic qualification reaches its most critical stage.

Australia moved to 13 points in Group B with the 2-0 win over UAE in Sydney to keep pressure on Japan and Saudi Arabia.

With three games left in the group, it sets up two group blockbusters for Australia in their next couple of games.

First, in Adelaide this June when the Saudis visit, followed by a trip to Japan on August 31 for the Caltex Socceroos.
