Joeys
Changes in dates for AFC Men's Youth National Team competitions
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has made the decision to cancel the AFC U-16 Championship Bahrain 2020 and the AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020.
The Joeys were set to play at the AFC U-16 Championship Bahrain 2020 and the Young Socceroos at the AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020, but after consideration for the safety and health of Asia’s youth players, the AFC took the decision to cancel both Championships.
The next instalments of both tournaments will be allocated to the same hosts in 2023 with Uzbekistan set to host the AFC U20 Asian Cup while Bahrain will stage the AFC U17 Asian Cup.
