The Aussies experienced another competitive window following matches against FIFA World Cup 2026™ co-hosts Canada and the United States.

Australia defeated Canada 1-0 in Montreal thanks to a Nestory Irankunda goal, before falling 2-1 to the USA in Denver and breaking an impressive 12-match unbeaten streak and first loss for Tony Popovic since his appointment as head coach in September 2024.

The Socceroos (25) remained unchanged, while maintaining their status as the fourth highest-ranked Asian Football Confederation nation after Japan (19), IR Iran (21) - both unchanged - and Korea Republic (22) moved up one spot.
