Lucas Herrington (Colorado Rapids) and Ante Suto (Hibernian) have received maiden call-ups. Deni Juric (Wisla Plock) - who departed Socceroos camp last November due to injury - is the third uncapped player named in the 26-player squad.

Aziz Behich (Melbourne City) returns for the first time since last June, when he scored in the World Cup qualifying win over Japan. Fellow A-League player Nishan Velupillay (Melbourne Victory) returns for the first time since last March, when he scored in the wins over Indonesia and China.

Awer Mabil (CD Castellon) has been named for the first time since September 2024. Jordan Bos (Feyenoord), Alessandro Circati (Parma), Ajdin Hrustic (Heracles Almelo), Jacob Italiano (Grazer AK), Fran Karacic (NK Osijek), Alexander Robertson (Cardiff) and Patrick Yazbek (Nashville) have also been recalled.

The CommBank Socceroos will face Cameroon (Sydney, March 27) and Curaçao (AAMI Park, Melbourne, March 31) in the FIFA Series 2026™ during the men’s March international window.

They are the Socceroos’ final home matches before the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Quotes attributable to CommBank Socceroos Head Coach Tony Popovic:

“These are our last matches before our World Cup pre-camp, and we have considered a variety of factors in selecting this squad.

“For many this camp is another opportunity to represent the Socceroos. However, we have also included new faces, as this is our final chance to see players first-hand before our World Cup camp.

“Representing our country is always an honour for both the players and the staff. We want to put on strong performances.

“While every game matters, these matches are crucial – they serve as a farewell to our fans and an opportunity for them to see the team one last time before we head to the United States.

“We appreciate the fantastic support we receive in Australia. Our fans really got behind us during the qualifying campaign, and we look forward to being back on home soil.”
