Degenek preserves winning start for J-League leaders

Caltex Socceroos defender Milos Degenek is proving to be a lucky charm for Yokohama F. Marinos, recording a clean sheet in just his second J-League appearance.

Goals from fellow imports David Babunski and Hugo Vieira sandwiched a Cayman Tagashi strike as the home side cruised to a 3-0 victory over newly-promoted Consadole Sapporo.

Degenek started alongside 39-year-old Japan legend Yuji Nakazawa in central-defence and completed his second full shift following his January move from Germany.
