The Subway Socceroos face Bahrain to begin their FIFA World Cup 2026™ Third Round Asian Qualifiers at Robina Stadium on the Gold Coast.
The match, scheduled for Thursday, 5 September at 8:00pm (AEST), marks the first time the Subway Socceroos have played in this part of Queensland.
Australia was drawn in Group C alongside Japan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, China PR and Indonesia.

The match against Bahrain will be broadcast live and free on Australia's 'Home of Football,' Network 10 with coverage beginning on Channel 10 from 7:30pm AEST and 10 Bold for viewers in Perth.
The qualifier will also be streamed live via both 10 Play and Paramount+.
