Australia take on Egypt in the Round of 32 at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ on Saturday, 4 July at 4:00am AEST at Dallas Stadium.
The Socceroos will be chasing their maiden knockout stage win at the major tournament when the two nations meet in Arlington, Texas.
Australia won their opening match 2-0 to Türkiye in Vancouver before falling 2-0 to the United States in Seattle and then drew 0-0 to Paraguay to finish runners-up in Group D.
Meanwhile, the Pharaohs began their campaign with a 1-1 draw to Belgium, defeated New Zealand 3-1 and played out a 1-1 stalemate with IR Iran to finish second in Group G.
Australia and Egypt will meet for the third time in their history and first at the FIFA World Cup™. It will be the first encounter since a November 2010 friendly when the Aussies lost 3-0 in Cairo.
