Joeys draw France in FIFA U-17 World Cup Round of 16

1 min read

Australia will face France in the FIFA U-17 World Cup Round of 16 this Thursday morning (AEDT).

Kick off against Les Bleuets takes place at 10.00am. Watch the game on LIVE on SBS and streamed live via The World Game website / app and SBS On Demand.

The Joeys booked their place in the knockout stage by finishing third in Group B behind Nigeria – who they beat 2-1 on Saturday – and Ecuador.

France finished top of Group C with three wins against Korea Republic, Chile and Haiti.

Trevor Morgan’s side face the two-time champions of the tournament at Estadio da Serrinha on Thursday with the winner advancing to a quarter final against either Spain or Senegal next week.

REACTION: 'Commitment and belief' powered Joeys to beat Nigeria says Morgan
