Joeys to face Brazil and England in US
World-class opposition awaits for Australia’s Joeys (under-17) team in November when they take part in the 2014 Nike International Friendlies and Development Academy Winter Showcase in Florida.
In a huge opportunity for Tony Vidmar’s youngsters, the Joeys will take on Brazil, England and host nation the USA over three group games.
And Australian fans will be able to watch every single minute, with every game of the five-day tournament shown live on www.ussoccer.com.
The Joeys are currently in Thailand competing at the AFC Under-16 Championships, where they need at least a semi-final berth to make next year’s FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile.
