The Subway Socceroos can confirm that Mathew Leckie will be unavailable for selection in their upcoming clash with Mexico after sustaining an injury at training.
The Melbourne City forward suffered a knock to his knee while participating in a session as part of the squad’s build up to Saturday’s clash at AT&T Stadium.
Leckie will remain under the care of Subway Socceroos’ medical staff until his return to Melbourne at the completion of the team’s commitments in Dallas, where his rehabilitation will be undertaken with Melbourne City in consultation with Subway Socceroos’ medical staff.
