The Subway Socceroos' upcoming opponents, New Zealand, have announced their squad for the two-match Soccer Ashes series to be held in Canberra on Friday, 5 September and in Auckland on Tuesday, 9 September.

The historic Soccer Ashes trophy is up for grabs again for the first time since October 2023 as another chapter in this storied Trans-Tasman rivalry will be written.
Indeed, it is also the maiden time the trophy will be contested on Australian and New Zealand soil since its rediscovery in 2023, having disappeared in the mid-1950s.
All Whites Head Coach Darren Bazeley has called up a strong squad for the pair of fixtures, including captain and Premier League striker Chris Wood. The Nottingham Forest talisman will also be joined by club teammate Marko Stamenic, while goalkeeper Alex Paulsen of Bournemouth has also been added.
Former Wellington Phoenix starlet and ex-Bayern Munich man Sarpreet Singh has been named as well. The 26-year-old plies his trade in the Serbian SuperLiga with Topolyai Sport Club alongside Socceroos defender Milos Degenek, who serves as club captain.
The Aussies' squad is yet to be named, but will be revealed later this month by Head Coach Tony Popovic.
Australia has faced New Zealand in 67 official meetings since 1922, recording 43 wins, 11 draws and 13 losses. That previous encounter between the two nations almost two years ago, saw the Aussies claim a 2-0 victory in Brentford, England.
It will be the seventh time Australia have played in Canberra and the first since March last year as preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ get underway.
Tickets are still available via Ticketek HERE, so secure your seats today for what promises to be an exciting contest in the nation's capital.
