Subway Socceroos winger Marco Tilio has joined SK Rapid Wien from Celtic FC in a permanent transfer until the 2028/29 season, the club announced.

The 24-year-old will now call the Austrian Bundesliga home for the next four years, and will hope the move increases his chances to make the final Socceroos squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Media reports have suggested the Austrian club paid £1.3 million ($2.7 million AUD) for his services.
Rapid Vienna is the country's most successful team, having been crowned champions 32 times - their last arriving in the 2007/08 campaign.
The tricky forward had spent the previous 18 months at Melbourne City on loan from the Scottish giants, six months after completing a record-breaking transfer from the A-League club in June 2023.
Injury unfortunately restricted Tilio's playing time to just two cameo appearances in the league with the Bhoys, and he returned to Melbourne in February 2024 to the club which initially launched his career to become one of the country's brightest prospects.
His loan with City was extended ahead of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2024/25 campaign and in 19 appearances, the 23-year-old scored five goals and laid on a further five assists as City clinched the championship - Tilio's second with team.
Rapid Wien Sporting Director Markus Katzer added: "Marco Tilio is a player we've had on our radar for a long time, and I'm particularly pleased that we've now reached an agreement on a permanent signing.
"With his speed and ability, which he can particularly exploit on the wing positions, he will enrich our attacking game.
"Even though he didn't gain much competitive playing time at Celtic, it's certainly an advantage that he's already gained experience at a large and storied European club.
Like our head coach Peter Stöger, I'm looking forward to working with him with confidence and hope that Marco Tilio will bring us much joy in the future."
During his time with City, Tilio won three consecutive premierships as well as championships in 2021 and 2025, while accumulating 107 matches in all competitions, recording 26 goals and 24 assists.
SK Rapid currently lie in second spot to begin new season with 10 points after four matches and are back in action at the Allianz Stadion for the second leg of their Europa Conference League play-off against Hungarian side ETO FC Gyor.
