CommBank Socceroos forward Martin Boyle has signed a new one-year extension with Hibernian FC, the club announced before their final game of the season against Motherwell.
Boyle's contract was set to expire at the end of the season but will now remain at Easter Road until June 2027.
The 33-year-old's has scored an impressive 110 goals in more than 400 appearances for the Hibees across his two separate stints.
In the 2025/26 campaign, Boyle has recorded 11 goals and four assists in 44 games.
Hibernian Head Coach David Gray said in a statement on the club's official website: “Everyone knows my feelings towards Martin Boyle and how much I value him as both a player and a person, so I am delighted that we are able to extend his contract by another year.
“Martin is still a huge asset for this Football Club and he has consistently proven year after year, and again this season, that he can deliver vital goals and big moments for the team.
“Not only that, he is a huge character to have in the dressing room and has stepped up in Joe Newell’s absence to captain the team and lead by example. He knows Hibernian FC inside out, and it made complete sense for us to keep him in the building.”
Since making his debut for Australia in 2018, Boyle has accumulated 41 caps while scoring 10 goals - his most occurring against Indonesia in March 2025.
