Mathew Leckie
One of the up and coming stars who’ve blossomed under Ange Postecoglou, Leckie played a key role at Brazil 2014 and was again important for Australia in January 2015 as they claimed the Asian Cup.
He’ll be another deadly weapon on the road to Russia for the Australian team.
At club level, Leckie has made steady progress after starring as a youngster with Adelaide United, he moved to German club Borussia Monchengladbach in 2011, before a loan spell at Frankfurt. He moved to his current club in the German second division, Ingolstadt, in 2014.
A real star for Australia over the coming World Cup cycle.
