Mohamed Toure has secured a move to Danish Superliga side Randers FC from Ligue 1 outfit Reims for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old forward joins the club on a four-year contract until the end of the 2027/28 season, having spent the past two seasons in France with Reims' B and first team and last campaign on loan at Paris FC.
He links up with fellow Australian and former Adelaide United teammate Paul Izzo, who signed with the Horses earlier this month.
Toure became the youngest goal-scorer in the A-League Men's competition in February 2020 at 15 years and 325 days and finished with seven goals in 44 games for the Reds before transferring to the French side in June 2022.
The pacy attacker made three Ligue 1 appearances for Reims and scored eight goals in 15 matches for the B side.
Toure's solitary Subway Socceroos occurred at Wembley Stadium as a late substitute against England in October 2023, and has represented Australia at the U23 level.
Speaking about his decision to move to Denmark, Toure said in a club statement: "It feels really good to have signed with Randers FC. I'm happy to be here and I'm excited to get started.
"I'm looking forward to meeting my new teammates. I know they are at a training camp in Germany at the moment, says Mohamed Touré and continues."
"I'm a passionate player. I always want to win and personally, I just want to play, enjoy playing football, score goals and make the team and our fans happy."
As mentioned there is one teammate Toure knows, being Izzo with the pair teammates at Adelaide.
"Paul Izzo is my boy. In my first professional match, he was the goalkeeper for our team," he explained.
"I have known him since the beginning of my career. So it's really good to have Paul Izzo here in Randers. He is a really good and funny person."
Toure will wear the number seven shirt and could make his debut in Randers' opening league match against Vejle BK on Monday, 22 July at 12:00am AEST.
