FFA TV caught up with Socceroos winger Tommy Oar to look back at Australia's crucial World Cup qualifier against Japan in Saitama way back in June 2013.

Faced with a parochial crowd of more than 62,000 fans and with the chance of missing qualification becoming a possibility, it was a tough ask for the Socceroos.
