Rogic set to meet Gersbach in UCL qualifier
Caltex Socceroo Tom Rogic scored a long-range special overnight as his club Celtic overwhelmed 4-0 Linfield in a UEFA Champions League qualifier at Parkhead in Glasgow.
The Aussie playmaker was on target just after the break with a long-range strike to help book a clash against Alex Gersbach’s Rosenborg in a third-round UCL qualifier.
The Scottish giants held a 2-0 lead from the first leg and ran out easy 6-0 winners on aggregate.
Rogic’s goal was another long-range special as he carried on his fine form from last season.
Rogic is now set to face his Australian teammate Gersbach in a UCL qualifier after the Norwegian side saw off Dundalk in their qualifier.
