Ryan named Belgium's best
Socceroos shot-stopper goalkeeper Mat Ryan has been recognised for another brilliant season, voted Goalkeeper of the Year in Belgium for the second year in a row.
Ryan was voted as the Jupiler League’s best by his peers at Belgium’s Professional Footballers awards for his exploits with high-flying Club Brugge.
It caps another stunning season for the ex-Central Coast Mariners gloveman, which included a Belgian Cup triumph in March, as well as his Asian Cup success with the Socceroos.
"I hold very proud of what until now has been realized," Ryan told the Club Brugge website.
