Socceroo Ryan’s Valencia into Copa Del Rey semis

Socceroo keeper Mat Ryan’s club Valencia are through to the semi finals of the Copa Del Rey after edging Las Palmas in their second leg quarter final 1-0.

After a 1-1 draw at the Mestalla, Las Palmas held a slight advantage going into the deciding home tie.

But it was Rodrigo’s first half goal on 20 minutes for Valencia that was the difference.

Australia’s Mat Ryan played a full game at the Estadio Gran Canaria on Thursday night (Fri AEDT).
