Middlesbrough’s Premier League hopes take centre stage in the Championship play-offs, while several CommBank Socceroos face defining fixtures at the other end of the table with relegation pressure mounting across Europe.

Starting with the Championship play-offs, where Riley McGree (cap #609) and Sam Silvera (cap #634) could be involved for Middlesbrough when they host Southampton in the semi-final first leg at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday at 9:30pm (AEST).
Boro were in the top two for long stages of the Championship season but ultimately paid the price for a damaging winless stretch in March and April and ended up finishing fifth in the standings.
But they go into the play-offs on the back of a four-game unbeaten run as they bid to reach the Wembley final and promotion to the Premier League.
In the Concacaf Champions Cup semi-finals second leg, Patrick Yazbek's (cap #641) Nashville fell 1-0 to Tigres UANL on Wednesday, exiting the competition 2–0 on aggregate.
Yazbek did not feature after being forced off during the warm-up with an apparent leg injury, with the extent of the issue still unclear.
Nashville return to MLS action on Sunday at 11:15am (AEST) against Kye Rowles' (cap #622) DC United.
Elsewhere, Kai Trewin (cap #656) is set to start for New York City FC against Columbus on Monday at 6:30am (AEST).
Trewin has featured in all 13 matches for NYCFC across the MLS and US Open Cup, and recently got on the scoresheet in the Hudson River Derby against the New York Red Bulls.
Aiden O'Neill (cap #629) injured his ankle after being stepped on, in New York City FC's 2-0 loss to DC United in the MLS, leaving the field after just 36 minutes last weekend.
Lucas Herrington (cap #658) is likely to start for Colorado Rapids when they host St Louis on Sunday at 11:30am (AEST).
In Spain’s La Liga, Maty Ryan (cap #555) will be in goal for Levante when they host tenth-placed Osasuna on Saturday at 5am (AEST).
In Spain's second tier, Awer Mabil (cap #597) could feature for Castellón when they travel to AD Ceuta FC on Saturday at 10pm (AEDT).
In Serie A over in Italy, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) should also start for Parma when they host third-place Napoli on Sunday at 11pm (AEST).
In the German Bundesliga, Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) and Jackson Irvine (cap #568) should feature for St Pauli when they travel to third-placed RB Leipzig on Saturday at 11:30pm (AEST).
With two matches remaining, St. Pauli sit in one of two permanent relegation spots, but are level on points with Wolfsburg in the relegation qualification position. The pair will play each other on the final day of the season in a couple of weeks' time.
Looking to the Netherlands, Jordan Bos (cap #632) is pushing for another start as Feyenoord host AZ Alkmaar on Monday at 12:45pm (AEST) in the Eredivisie.
Feyenoord have a five-point advantage over third-placed NEC Nijmegen with two matchdays to go. If they remain in second position, they will qualify automatically to the league phase of next season's UEFA Champions League.
Elsewhere in the competition, Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) could start for the already relegated Heracles Almelo as they take on SC Telstar on Monday at 12:45pm (AEST).
Also, Max Balard (cap #652) should start when NAC Breda host SC Heerenveen on Monday at 12:45pm (AEST).

In Poland, Deni Juric (cap #659) is set to start as Wisla Plock take on Motor Lublin on Sunday at 10:45pm (AEST).
In Denmark, Paul Izzo (cap #650) is expected to start in goal when Randers host Odense Boldklub on Tuesday at 3am (AEST).
Izzo has kept eight clean sheets this season, with Randers sitting three points clear of the relegation zone heading into their final two matches.
Over in Cyprus, Milos Degenek (cap #585) could start for APOEL when they welcome Apollon Limassol FC on Monday at 1am (AEST).
Fran Karacic (cap #607) might feature for Osijek as they take on NK Istra 1961 in the Croatian HNL on Monday at 12am (AEST).
Moving to the Scottish Premiership, Cameron Devlin (cap #625) could also feature for Heart of Midlothian as they travel to Motherwell on Sunday at 5am (AEST).
Hearts remain on course for a first top-flight title since 1959/60 after recovering from a goal down to beat Rangers 2-1 in a massive match on Monday to move three points clear of Celtic in the title race.
Martin Boyle (cap #599), Ante Suto and Jack Iredale could all be involved for Hibernian when they travel to Falkirk FC on Sunday at 12am (AEST).
Nicolas Milanovic's (cap #651) Aberdeen FC host Ryan Strain's (cap #624) Dundee United at the same time on Sunday.

Over to Austria, where Marco Tilio (cap #616) could be in line for minutes when Rapid Wien host Austria Wien on Monday at 1am (AEST).
Tilio joined Rapid Wien on a permanent move from Celtic this season, but has featured in 11 matches across all competitions so far this campaign.
Looking to the Czech Republic, Garang Kuol (cap #627) could get on the pitch for Sparta Prague as they travel to SK Slavia Prague on Sunday at 3am (AEST).
A win in their next match would secure Sparta Prague at least a place in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers for next season.
In Norway, Gianni Stensness (cap #617) should be in Vikings’ team as they take on KFUM-Kameratene Oslo on Monday at 1am (AEST).
In Bosnia-Herzegovina, Tomi Juric (cap #561) could be involved when Zrinjski Mostar travel to FK Radnik Bijeljina on Sunday at 1am (AEST).

Finishing in Singapore, Bailey Wright (cap #576) is in line for a start when Lion City Sailors host FC Jurong on Sunday at 9:30pm (AEST).
Wright recently helped the Sailors secure another Singapore Premier League title after featuring in their 0-0 draw away to Tampines Rovers, sealing back-to-back championships for the club.
The Socceroo has now won two SPL titles, three Singapore Cups, a Community Shield, and finished runners-up in the AFC Champions League Two during his time in Singapore, with the league triumph also booking the club’s place in next season’s group stage of the AFC Champions League Two.
