Attention now turns to a big weekend for Australians abroad, with the aforementioned Bos going head-to-head with Ajdin Hrustic, potential debuts for Milos Degenek and Fran Karacic, and an all-Australian match-up in Scotland.

Starting with mid-week Championship action, Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) came off the bench in the 81st minute in a 1-1 draw with Adrian Segecic’s Portsmouth on Thursday.
Segecic also played 92 minutes and scored his sixth goal of the season, while fellow Aussie Jacob Farrell received his first minutes since August, coming off the bench in the 81st minute.
Sam Silvera (cap #634) also played the first half for Middlesbrough on Thursday in a 2-1 win over Stoke City as Boro came from a goal down to move back into second place.
They face Preston on Saturday at 11:30pm (AEDT). Riley McGree (cap #509) is edging closer to a return from a hamstring complaint, but his availability remains uncertain.
Watford face Lewis Miller’s (cap #635) Blackburn Rovers on Sunday at 2am (AEDT), while Portsmouth host Southampton earlier at 11pm (AEDT). Miller is currently recovering from a groin complaint and will miss out against Watford.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) played another full match for Swansea City on Wednesday in a 3-1 win over Blackburn. However, the defender will miss Swansea’s return to league action on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) against Hull City through suspension.
Callum Elder (cap #614) came on in the 89th minute for Derby County in a 2-1 win over Charlton on Wednesday. They face West Brom on Saturday at 7am (AEDT).
In EFL League One, Alex Robertson (cap #630) should feature for Cardiff City on Saturday at 11:30pm (AEDT) when they host Stockport County FC.
Joe Gauci (cap #631) may also feature for Port Vale when they face Exeter City FC on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).
In League Two, Gethin Jones (cap #639) should feature for MK Dons against Shrewsbury Town FC on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).
In the Europa League, Jordan Bos (cap #632) played 62 minutes for Feyenoord as they beat SK Sturm Graz 3-0 on Friday, with their slim hopes of reaching the playoffs still alive.
Feyenoord moves to six points with one game against Real Betis to come. A win is needed in Spain to have any chance of reaching the playoffs.

They return to Eredivisie on Monday at 2:45am (AEDT) against Ajdin Hrustic's (cap #589) Heracles Almelo, looking to close the 16-point gap on PSV.
Meanwhile, Heracles are searching for their first win in six Eredivisie matches as they fight to move off the foot of the table.
Elsewhere in the league, Max Balard (cap #652) should also feature on Sunday at 6am (AEDT) when NAC Breda face league leaders PSV.
In Italy's Serie A, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) In Italy’s Serie A, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) is likely to feature again for Parma when they travel to Atalanta on Monday at 1am (AEDT).
Since returning from an ankle injury that sidelined him for around two months late last year, the 22-year-old has been a key figure in Parma’s backline, playing every minute of the club’s past six league matches.
During that run, Circati has helped Parma keep three clean sheets, including a scoreless away draw against Napoli, as the side sits 13th on the Serie A ladder.
In Spain, Maty Ryan (cap #555) is set to start in goal for Levante when they host Elche CF on Saturday at 7am (AEDT), with the club sitting six points from safety in LaLiga.
In Germany's Bundesliga, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) could return to the St Pauli squad when they face Hamburger SV on Saturday at 6:30am (AEDT). Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) has been ruled out with injury for an undetermined period.

Karacic has completed a loan move from Hajduk Split to the fellow Croatian side, with the deal including an option to buy.

In Spain's second tier, Awer Mabil (cap #597) should feature for Castellon when they face Real Zaragoza on Monday at 4:30am (AEDT).
The 30-year-old is enjoying one of the most productive spells of his European career, having started every league match since November 10 and playing a key role in Castellón’s surge up the LaLiga2 table to second place.
During that run, Mabil has contributed two goals and three assists, averaging over 80 minutes per game as the club’s form has dramatically turned around after sitting near the relegation zone earlier in the season.
