Socceroos Abroad: Bos meets Balard in Eredivisie, Rowles faces Messi in MLS

A head-to-head in the Netherlands between Jordan Bos and Max Balard and a blockbuster MLS test for Kye Rowles against Lionel Messi headline another packed weekend for the Socceroos abroad.

Starting in the Eredivisie, Jordan Bos (cap #632) is set to feature for Feyenoord when they travel to Max Balard's (cap #652) NAC Breda on Monday at 2:45am (AEDT). 

NAC Breda sit just one point above the relegation zone heading into the clash, while Feyenoord will be aiming to respond after last week’s defeat to FC Twente. The Rotterdam side are looking to trim the 17-point gap to league leaders PSV and strengthen its grip on second place, with Ajax four points adrift behind them.

Elsewhere in the league, Ajdin Hrustic's (cap #589) Heracles Almelo host FC Utrecht on Saturday at 6am (AEDT), needing points as they sit bottom of the table and five points adrift of safety.

In the Championship, Riley McGree (cap #509) will also aim to continue his impressive form when Middlesbrough travel to QPR on Monday at 3:30am (AEDT). 

Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) is in line to feature for Watford in their trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday at 6:45am (AEDT), while Callum Elder's (cap #614) Derby County also take on Wednesday earlier in the round on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).

Cameron Burgess (cap #633) and Swansea City host Stoke City on Sunday at 2am (AEDT), as Adrian Segecic could be involved for Portsmouth when they face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday at 11:30pm (AEDT).

In EFL League One, Alex Robertson (cap #630) is set to feature for Cardiff City on Saturday at 11:30pm (AEDT) in a blockbuster first-versus-second showdown with Lincoln City.

Robertson heads into the top-of-the-table clash in strong form, having registered three goals and two assists across his past six League One appearances.

In the FA Cup, Joe Gauci (cap #631) was also in goal for Port Vale in League One on Wednesday and kept a clean sheet as they progressed with a 1-0 win over Bristol City.

They return to league action on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) against Peterborough United FC.

In League Two, Gethin Jones (cap #639) should appear for MK Dons on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) when they face Harrogate Town AFC. 

In Italy's Serie A, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) is likely to feature again for Parma when they travel to ACF Fiorentina on Monday at 1am (AEDT). 

In Spain, Maty Ryan (cap #555) is set to start in goal for Levante when they host Girona FC on Sunday at 2:15am (AEDT), with the club sitting five points adrift of safety as they look to close the gap on the teams above them.

In Germany's Bundesliga, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) could feature for St Pauli when they host Eintracht Frankfurt on Monday at 1:30am (AEDT). Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) could also feature after making his first appearance since late September last weekend.

Over in the MLS, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) should feature for Nashville when they host Minnesota United FC on Sunday at 12:30pm (AEDT).

On Monday, Kye Rowles (cap #622) is also likely to appear for DC United when they host Lionel Messi's Inter Miami on Sunday at 8:30am (AEDT). 

Kai Trewin (cap #656) and Aiden O'Neill's (cap #629) New York City also host Orlando City SC at 6:30am (AEDT).

In the Cypriot First Division, Milos Degenek (cap #585) should feature again for APOEL FC when they host Anorthosis Famagusta FC on Monday at 2am (AEDT). 

In Croatia, Fran Karacic (cap #607) should feature again for NK Osijek on Saturday at 4am (AEDT) against NK Istra 1961.

Elsewhere in Croatia, Anthony Kalik could appear for Hajduk Split on Monday at 1am (AEDT) against GNK Dinamo Zagreb.

In Scotland, Martin Boyle (cap #599) and Jack Iredale should appear for Hibernian on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) against Ryan McGowan's (cap #546) Livingston.

Nicolas Milanovic (cap #651)  could feature when Aberdeen return to action on Sunday at 6:30am (AEDT) in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals against Dunfermline Athletic FC.

Keanu Baccus (cap #628) St. Mirren played a full game in a 2-1 loss to Dundee United on Wednesday.

Ryan Strain (cap #624) could return to the squad when Dundee United feature in Scottish Cup quarter-finals action on Saturday at 6:45am (AEDT) against Falkirk, while St. Mirren host Partick Thistle FC on Monday at 6:30am (AEDT) in the same competition. 

Moving back to the Netherlands, Josh Nisbet (#642) should feature again for Roda JC Kerkrade when they face Jong PSV on Saturday at 6am (AEDT). 

In Spain's second tier, Awer Mabil (cap #597) could feature for Castellón when they travel to Real Sociedad B on Sunday at 2:15am (AEDT). 

In the Czech Cup quarter-finals, Garang Kuol (cap #627) started and played 69 minutes for Sparta Prague on Wednesday against FK Mladá Boleslav. The match finished 0-0 before Mladá won 4-2 on penalties. 

They return to the Czech First League on Monday at 4:30am (AEDT) in a top-of-the-table clash against SK Slavia Prague.

In the Austrian Bundesliga, Jacob Italiano (cap #653) is likely to appear again for Grazer AK on Monday at 3am (AEDT) against WSG Tirol.

Gianni Stensness (cap #617) could feature in the Norwegian Cup fourth round when Viking face IL Bjarg on Sunday.

In the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tomi Juric (cap #561) could feature again for HŠK Zrinjski Mostar when they face FK Radnik Bijeljina on Sunday at 3am (AEDT). 

In Japan, Kusini Yengi (cap #638) should appear for Cerezo Osaka when they face Shimizu S-Pulse on Saturday at 5pm (AEDT) in the J1 League. 

In the J2 League, Jason Geria (cap #586) should feature again for Albirex Niigata against Kochi United SC on Saturday at 4pm (AEDT). 

In Singapore, Bailey Wright (cap #576) could start on Saturday for Lion City Sailors against Geylang International FC at 11:30pm (AEDT).

Curtis Good (cap #569)  is also likely to appear for Buriram United in Thailand when they face Nakhon Ratchasima FC at 11:30pm (AEDT) on Saturday. Good played the full game in the AFC Champions League 1-1 draw with Melbourne City on Tuesday.

In Saudi Arabia, Connor Pain (cap #565) should appear for Al Bukayriyah on Sunday at 5:45am (AEDT) against Al Adalah Club in the second division. 

In India, Jamie Maclaren (cap #584) could feature alongside Dimitri Petratos (cap #593) and Jason Cummings (cap #626) for Mohun Bagan against Odisha FC on Friday at 10:30pm (AEDT).
