It was a strong weekend for Socceroos abroad as Alessandro Circati's Parma pulled off a major upset in Serie A while Martin Boyle grabbed his first goal of the Scottish Premiership season in some style.
Several Socceroos also kicked off their league campaigns this weekend, including Jackson Irvine and Connor Metcalfe who made their Bundesliga debuts.

In the Scottish Premiership, Martin Boyle (cap #599) played a full game and scored a cracker of a free-kick for Hibernian in their 2-2 draw with Dundee FC on Sunday. Lewis Miller (cap #635) also played an hour for Hibs.
Alessandro Circati (cap #637) completed the full 90 minutes for Parma in defence as they stunned Italian giants AC Milan in Serie A on Sunday. Circati made six clearances and two interceptions as Parma remained unbeaten in their return to top-flight Italian football.
Also on Sunday, Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) scored twice and bagged an assist in a man of the match display for Bayern Munich II in their 4-1 win over Wurzburger Kickers in Regionalliga.
After both signing contract extensions on the eve of the Bundesliga season, Jackson Irvine (#568) and Connor Metcalfe (#611) made their German top flight debuts, both starting for St Pauli in their 2-0 loss to FC Heidenheim. Irvine played a full game, while Metcalfe played 85 minutes.
In Serie A, Maty Ryan (cap #555) was on the bench for Roma as they lost 2-1 to Empoli on Sunday.
