The Danish Superliga season kicks off this weekend, with Mohamed Toure and Paul Izzo set to feature for Randers as they begin their campaign away to Vejle.

Here’s your wrap of the mid-week Aussie action across the globe and a look ahead to what’s coming up this weekend.

Starting in Denmark, the Danish Superliga season kicks off for Mohamed Toure (cap #636) and Paul Izzo when Randers travel to Vejle Boldklub on Sunday at 10pm (AEST).

Randers will be hoping to build on a fourth-place finish last season.

Over to Belgium, where Ryan Teague (cap #649) started for KV Mechelen on Thursday in a 2-2 draw with K.S.K. Heist in their final pre-season hit out.
 

 


In the Scottish League Cup group stages, Cameron Devlin (cap #625) came off the bench in the 65th minute while fellow Aussie Calem Nieuwenhof played the full game as Hearts beat Hamilton 4-0. 

They face Stirling Albion FC on Sunday at 2:15am (AEST).

Elsewhere in Scotland, pre-season continued to build with Martin Boyle (cap #599) starting and playing 75 minutes for Hibernian as they lost 2-1 to AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday.

Lewis Miller (cap #635) could feature alongside Boyle when they face Bolton Wanderers FC on Saturday at 11pm (AEST) as pre-season continues.

Ryan Strain (cap #624) also started for Dundee United in pre-season as they drew 1-1 with St Johnstone on Wednesday. They face Oldham Athletic AFC on Saturday at 11pm (AEST).

Elsewhere in the Scottish Premiership pre-season, Marco Tilio (cap #616) came off the bench in the 66th minute as Celtic beat Sporting 2-0 on Thursday.

They face Newcastle United FC on Sunday at 12am (AEST) as pre-season continues.

In the United States, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) played 88 minutes on Thursday as Nashville bounced back with a 3-0 win over the Columbus Crew.

They face Toronto on Sunday at 10:30am (AEST). 

Kye Rowles (cap #622) played the full game for DC United in a 2-1 loss to Charlotte FC on Thursday. They return to MLS action on Sunday against Columbus. 

Elsewhere in the MLS, Aiden O'Neill (cap #629) started and played 89 minutes for New York City as they beat Orlando City SC 2-1 with a last-minute winner on Thursday.

They travel to Sporting Kansas City on Sunday at 10:30am (AEST).
 


Finally, in North America, Brad Smith (cap #575) came on in the 85th minute for FC Cincinnati in a 3-0 win over Inter Miami on Thursday. They face Real Salt Lake on Sunday at 11:30am (AEST). 

Daniel Arzani (cap #596) was an unused substitute for Ferencvárosi TC in a 2-1 win over Karlsruher SC on Wednesday. They face FC Noah on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.

Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) also came on at half-time as St Pauli beat Silkeborg 4-1 on Wednesday, as they continue their preparations for a second consecutive German Bundesliga season. 

In English Championship preparations, Hayden Matthews (cap #648) started alongside fellow Aussies Thomas Waddingham and Adrian Segecic as Portsmouth beat Woking FC 2-0 on Wednesday. Segecic scored a goal, and Jacob Farrell came off the bench at half-time. 
 

 


They followed up with another friendly on Thursday, cruising past Farnborough FC 5-0. Segecic, Mathews, and Waddingham all featured in the second half, with Waddingham netting the fourth goal.

Riley McGree (cap #509) could feature alongside Tom Glover for Middlesbrough on Saturday at 11pm (AEST) against Keanu Baccus' (cap #628) Mansfield Town.

Cameron Burgess (cap #633) could make his debut for Swansea City when they host Stevenage FC on Saturday at 8pm (AEST).

Gethin Jones (cap #639) also came on in the 60th minute for Milton Keynes Dons as they continued their League Two preparations against Brackley Town FC with a 2-0 win on Wednesday. 

They face Doncaster Rovers FC on Sunday at 12am (AEST).
 

 


Awer Mabil (cap #597) could also feature in pre-season for Castellon on Sunday at 3am (AEST) against Valencia CF.

Over to Japan and the J1 League, where Thomas Deng (cap #598) should feature for Yokohama F. Marinos against Nagoya Grampus on Sunday at 8pm (AEST).

Elsewhere in Japan, Mitchell Duke (cap #559) played the first half for Machida Zelvia on Wednesday in the Emperor's Cup as they advanced with a 2-1 win over Kataller Toyama.

They return to J1 action on Sunday at 7pm (AEST) against Tokyo Verdy.

Jason Geria (cap #586) could also feature for Albirex Niigata when they face Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Sunday at 7pm (AEST) in the J1 League.

In Korea's second tier, John Iredale (cap #640) should start for Seoul E-Land when they host Seongnam FC on Saturday at 8pm (AEST).

In Europe, Cameron Peupion could feature for ADO Den Haag when they face Francs Borains on Saturday at 10pm (AEST).
