Plenty of Subway Socceroos contributed to goals this weekend, and many picked up some important results in their respective competitions.
Here is a look at what happened.

In the Scottish Cup, Martin Boyle (cap #599) notched a brace and registered an assist in 63 minutes as Hibernian downed Clydebank 3-0 on Sunday. The 31-year-old has scored 6 goals in his previous three matches across all competitions and also has 20 goal contributions for the season, finding the back of the net 12 times to go a long with eight assists.
Lewis Miller (cap #635) also started the match, playing a full game.
Jordan Bos (cap #632) was also amongst the goals, scoring for Westerlo in their 3-2 loss to Royal Antwerp on Monday morning in Belgium’s First Division A.
Also in the Scottish Cup, Cameron Devlin (cap #625) played 87 minutes of Hearts’ 4-1 win over Brechin on Saturday morning.
Further, Ryan McGowan’s (cap #546) Livingston stunned Josh Nisbet’s (cap #642) Ross County, getting up 3-2 after extra time on Sunday. McGowan played a full game for the Scottish Championship side, while Nisbet was subbed off in the 65th minute for Ross County.
There was a big win for Jackson Irvine (cap #568) in the Bundesliga on Sunday morning as St. Pauli downed FC Heidenheim 2-0 to move three points clear of the relegation zone.
In the English Premier League, Joe Gauci (cap #631) made the bench for Aston Villa’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
Further in the competition, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) played all of Ipswich Town’s 6-0 loss to Manchester City on Monday. Massimo Luongo (cap #571) came off the bench for Ipswich in the 64th minute.
In Premier League 2, Garang Kuol (cap #627) scored for Newcastle United’s academy in their 4-2 loss to Southampton Academy on Saturday.
In the EFL Championship, Alex Robertson (cap #630) stood out for Cardiff City again, picking up an assist in his 76 minutes for the side as they beat Swansea City 3-0.
Tom Glover was the goalkeeper for Middlesbrough’s 2-1 loss to Portsmouth in the EFL Championship on Sunday.
Elsewhere in the competition on Sunday, Callum Elder (cap #614) played 74 minutes for Derby County as they lost 2-0 to Watford.
In EFL League One, Gethin Jones (cap #639) was subbed off in the 75th minute of Bolton Wanderers’ 2-2 draw with Cambridge United on Sunday.
Also in League One, Sam Silvera (cap #634) made his Blackpool debut, coming off the bench in the 75th minute of Blackpool’s 2-2 draw with Huddersfield.
Denis Genreau (cap #610) played 85 minutes of Toulouse’s 0-0 draw with Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) made his debut for Grasshopper, playing the first half of their 1-0 win over Sion in the Swiss Super League on Sunday.
In Serie A, Mathew Ryan (cap #555) was on the bench for AS Roma’s 3-1 win over Genoa on Saturday.
Max Balard played a full game for NAC Breda in their 2-1 win over FC Twente on Sunday night in Eredivisie.
Oevr to the Saudi Pro League, where Craig Goodwin (cap #562) played a full game for Al Wheda in their 3-0 loss to Al Qadasiya on Saturday morning.
In the Indian Super League, Jason Cummings (cap #626) played 65 minutes for Mohun Bagan SG in their 1-1 draw with Jamshedpur on Saturday. Jamie Maclaren (cap #584) played 82 minutes for the side and was replaced by Dimitri Petratos (cap #593).
Bailey Wright (cap #576) played an hour for Lion City Sailors in their 6-0 win over Albirex Niigata on Friday night in the Singapore Premier League.
In the Thai League, Kenny Dougall (cap #608) played a full game for Buriram United as they smashed Khonkaen United 9-0 on Sunday night.

Cameron Peupion scored again for Brighton and Hove Albion's academy in their 1-1 draw with Leicester City in Premier League 2 on Saturday.
