Fran Karacic’s move to Hajduk Split headlined a big week for the Socceroos abroad, as MLS action continues following midweek US Open Cup clashes.

Starting in Croatia, where Fran Karacic (cap #607) has completed a transfer from NK Lokomotiva Zagreb to HNK Hajduk Split.
The 29-year-old has signed with Hajduk until the summer of 2028 after an impressive season with Lokomotiva, where he made 36 appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists.
In his senior career, Karacic has played for Lokomotiva, Lučko, Dinamo Zagreb, Brescia in Italy and Rudes, with most of his appearances coming for Lokomotiva, where he featured in 179 matches, scored 13 goals and registered 23 assists.
Over to the United States, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) came on in the 84th minute on Thursday as Nashville extended their unbeaten run and advanced in the US Open Cup with a 5-2 quarter-finals win over Kye Rowles' (cap #622) DC United. Rowles played the full game.
Nashville return to MLS action on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST) against Inter Miami, while Rowles' DC United face LA Galaxy on Sunday at 12:30pm (AEST).
Elsewhere in the MLS, Aiden O'Neill (cap #629) is likely to feature again for New York City when they face Charlotte FC on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST). The City are in seventh position in the Eastern Conference, narrowly holding a playoff position.
Finally, Brad Smith (cap #575) could feature for FC Cincinnati against the Columbus Crew on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST).
Back to Europe, where Daniel Arzani (cap #596) made his debut for Ferencvárosi TC, playing 30 minutes in their 1-0 win vs FC Zlín on Wednesday as pre-season continues.
In Scotland, pre-season continued to build with Lewis Miller (cap #635) starting for Hibernian and playing 32 minutes before going off with a knock. Martin Boyle (cap #599) came on in the 61st minute and scored the decisive goal with a volley as Hibs defeated Rot-Weiss Essen in a Thursday friendly.
In Korea's second tier, John Iredale (cap #640) might earn a start for Seoul E-Land in their away trip to Ansan Greeners FC on Sunday at 8:00pm (AEST).

In the MLS, Giuseppe Bovalina could return for the Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday at 11:30am (AEST) against the Colorado Rapids.
In Europe, Cameron Peupion scored a goal for ADO Den Haag as they thumped Laakkwartier 15-0 to continue their pre-season preparations.
