There was some midweek European action for our Socceroos abroad, ahead of another important weekend in the run-up to the busy festive period.

There were several Socceroos involved in midweek action in Scotland and England.
Starting in the Scottish Premiership, Cameron Devlin (cap #625) played all of Hearts' 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock on Thursday morning. The midfielder is likely to start on Monday at 2:00 am (AEDT) against Celtic.
Continuing with Thursday morning action, Ryan Strain (cap #624) was subbed on in the 54th minute for Dundee FC as they drew 2-2 with Rangers.
Keanu Baccus (cap #628) played 78 minutes for St. Mirren as the side drew 3-3 with Aberdeen on Thursday morning. On Sunday at 2:00 am (AEST), Aberdeen travel to Dundee FC, while St. Mirren host Dundee United.
Apostolos Stamatelopoulos (cap #644) came on in the 74th minute of Motherwell's 0-0 draw with Falkirk on Thursday. The striker could be in action again at home to Livingston on Sunday at 2:00 am (AEST).
At the same time, Martin Boyle (cap #599) and November window call-up Jack Iredale could start when Hibernian host Falkirk.
Moving to the EFL Championship, Lewis Miller (cap #635) played a full game for Blackburn Rovers in the side's 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town on Wedneday morning. The fullback should start on Sunday at 2:00 am (AEST) when Blackburn host Sheffield Wednesday.
Riley McGree (cap #509) and Sam Silvera (cap #634) should be in Middlesbrough's squad for their away trip to Hull City on Saturday at 7:00 am (AEDT).
On Saturday evening at 11:30 pm (AEDT), Callum Elder (cap #614) could start when Derby County welcome Leicester City.
