Starting in the MLS Cup playoffs, Aiden O’Neill (cap #629) played the full game for New York City FC in a 3-1 win over Charlotte FC on Saturday.
The result sent the Cityzens through to a second consecutive Eastern Conference Semi-Final, where they’ll face Philadelphia Union after clinching the decisive Game 3 of their Round One Best-of-3 Series at Bank of America Stadium.
O’Neill was a composed presence in midfield, completing 44 of 46 passes at an impressive 96% accuracy. He was particularly effective in distribution, completing 15 of 16 passes in the opposition half and 29 of 30 in his own.
Fellow Aussie Archie Goodwin also featured for Charlotte, coming off the bench in the 61st minute and providing an assist.
Elsewhere in the MLS playoffs, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) started and played the first half for Nashville in a 4-0 loss to Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the decisive Game 3 of their Round One series on Sunday.
The defeat saw Nashville eliminated in the opening round for the third consecutive postseason, bringing an end to an otherwise historic campaign under coach BJ Callaghan. In 2025, the Boys in Gold captured their first-ever major trophy by winning the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and set several club records across competitions, including most wins (22), most home wins (15), longest unbeaten streak (15), and total goals scored (75).
In Germany's Bundesliga, Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) played 82 minutes and assisted, while Jackson Irvine (cap #568) came off the bench in the 68th minute in St. Pauli's 2-1 loss on Monday to SC Freiburg.
In the Eredivisie, Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) continued his impressive run of form for Heracles Almelo, providing another assist in their 2-1 away win over Excelsior on Sunday. The 29-year-old played the full match as Heracles recorded back-to-back league victories and three consecutive wins across all competitions.
It was Hrustic’s fifth assist of the season, further underlining his influence as the club’s revival gathers momentum. Despite remaining at the bottom of the table, Heracles have scored 14 goals in their past three matches and now sit within reach of climbing out of the relegation zone. They return to action after the international break against Go Ahead Eagles.
Elsewhere in the league, Max Balard (cap #652) also played another full game on Sunday as NAC Breda lost 2-1 to FC Volendam in the Eredivisie.
In Spain, Maty Ryan (cap #555) made eight saves in an impressive display, despite his Levante side losing 3-1 to Atlético de Madrid on Sunday.
In the EFL Championship action, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) played the full match for Swansea City in their 4-1 loss to his former club Ipswich Town on Saturday. It proved a difficult outing for the defender, who was involved in both of Ipswich’s second-half goals as the visitors extended their unbeaten run to four matches.
Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) also started and played 61 minutes for Watford as they drew 1-1 with Bristol City on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Lewis Miller (cap #635) also played a full game for Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship in a 2-1 loss to Callum Elder's (cap #614) Derby on Saturday.
Elder also completed the full 90 minutes and provided an assist, capping off an excellent week after earning a recall to the Socceroos squad.
Hayden Matthews (cap #648) was an unused substitute for Portsmouth on Saturday in a 3-2 loss to Hull City.
Riley McGree (cap #509) started and played 61 minutes as Middlesbrough beat Birmingham City 2-1 on Saturday. It was the midfielder’s first start of the season after returning from injury, and he made an immediate impact with his energy and sharpness early on, drilling an effort wide as Boro began on the front foot.
The result capped off a tumultuous week for Middlesbrough following uncertainty around their manager’s future, but McGree’s return was a major positive as the club steadied with an important win at home.
Sam Silvera (cap #634) also came off the bench in the 26th minute.
In EFL League One, Joe Gauci (cap #631) was in goal for Port Vale in a 4-0 loss to Bolton on Sunday.
Elsewhere in League One, Alex Robertson (cap #630) started and played 68 minutes for Cardiff City on Sunday in a 3-1 loss to Blackpool FC.
In Denmark, Paul Izzo (cap #650) was in goal for Randers while Mohamed Toure (cap #636) also played a full game as they lost 2-0 to second-place FC Midtjylland on Monday.
In Norway, returning Socceroo Nick D'Agostino (cap #621) and Gianni Stensness (cap #617) both featured for Viking FK in their 3-0 win over HamKam on Sunday morning. Stensness played the full match in defence, while D’Agostino came off the bench in the 79th minute as Viking moved a step closer to securing the Eliteserien title.
The victory keeps Viking four points clear at the top of the table with two matchdays remaining, though second-placed Bodø/Glimt still have a game in hand. The result also confirms Viking’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds, marking a huge achievement for the Stavanger-based club.
Kusini Yengi (cap #638) was an unused substitute for Aberdeen on Monday, while Apostolos Stamatelopoulos (cap #644) played 65 minutes for Motherwell in a 1-1 draw.
Martin Boyle (cap #599) played 69 minutes while November window call-up Jack Iredale played a full game for Hibernian in a 3-0 win over Keanu Baccus' (cap #628) St Mirren FC on Sunday. Baccus also played the full match for the visitors.
The victory sees Hibernian reclaim third place in the Scottish Premiership after briefly relinquishing it to Falkirk, keeping them firmly in contention in the top half of the table.

The club remain unbeaten in the league and sits fourteen points clear of a playoff position. For Peupion, it was his fifth goal of the season, with the midfielder averaging 65 minutes per appearance.
