Socceroos Abroad: Ryan earns another shutout in Spain, Trewin scores first goal in USA, Souttar targets another start in England

Starting in Spain’s La Liga, Maty Ryan (cap #555) kept his third clean sheet in a row as Levante drew 0-0 with Espanyol on Tuesday morning. Levante travel to Villarreal on Saturday at 10:00 pm (AEST).

 

In the United States, Kai Trewin (cap #656) scored his first goal for New York City, playing a full game in a 3-1 win against New York Red Bulls on Thursday morning in the Open Cup Round of 16. Aiden O'Neill (cap #629) played a full game for New York City as well. The pair might start against Kye Rowles’ (cap #622) DC United in MLS on Monday at 5:00 am (AEST).

 

In Serie A, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) is expected to start for Parma against Inter Milan on Monday at 4:45 am (AEST).

Over in the German Bundesliga, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) and Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) are likely to be involved for St. Pauli when they host Mainz on Sunday at 11:30 pm (AEST).

 

Looking to the Netherlands, Jordan Bos (cap #632) should start when Feyenoord face Fortuna Sittard in Eredivisie on Sunday at 10:30 pm (AEST).

Elsewhere in the competition, Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) is likely to start for Heracles away to PEC Zwolle at the same time.
