Starting in the German Bundesliga, where Jackson Irvine (cap #568) played a full game and assisted for St. Pauli as they drew 1-1 with VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday. 

In France, Mathew Ryan (cap #555) was in goal again and kept a clean sheet for RC Lens in a Player of the Match display as they beat second-placed Olympique de Marseille in a 1-0 win on Sunday.

Ryan's crucial saves, including a stunning stop to deny Amine Gouiri and late heroics against Luis Henrique and Neal Maupay, secured Lens' 1-0 win over Marseille. The victory ended Lens' four-game losing streak and brought them within three points of Ligue 1's top six.

 

In Korea, John Iredale (cap #640) came off the bench at half-time and scored a goal as Seoul E-Land FC beat Suwon Samsung Bluewings 4-2 on Sunday.

The 25-year-old scored his second goal for his new side as they moved joint-top of the table.

In the Premier League, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) was an unused substitute as Ipswich Town lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

In the English Championship, Kusini Yengi (cap #638) came off the bench in the 90th minute as he ramped up his return from injury in Portsmouth's 1-0 win over league leaders Leeds United on Sunday.

While Leeds' 17-game unbeaten run ended, they remain at the top level with Sheffield United. Portsmouth stay 17th but are now 10 points clear of the drop.

Elsewhere, Callum Elder (cap #614) played a full game for Derby County in a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers FC on Sunday.
