Starting in England and the Carabao Cup first-round, Harry Souttar (cap #606) debuted for Sheffield United and captained the side in a 90-minute display against Wrexham on Wednesday.

The new Sheffield United signing played a telling role in their fourth goal as the Blades made the most of his aerial advantage from set-pieces to secure a 4-2 win over the side from North Wales.

Souttar could feature again when United face QPR on Sunday at 12am (AEST) as they return to Championship action.

Elsewhere in the cup, Alexander Robertson (cap #630) also debuted for Cardiff City with a 60-minute display in a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers on Wednesday.

He could feature again in the Championship on Sunday at 12am (AEST) against Burnley.
