Starting in Scotland, Josh Nisbet (cap #642) played a full game and scored another goal to spark a two-goal comeback as Ross County drew 2-2 with Heart of Midlothian on Monday. Kye Rowles (cap #622) also played a full game for Hearts.

It is Nisbet's third goal of the campaign and second in two games as County delivered their double blow to leave both sides where they started the day in the table - County 10th and Hearts 11th.

Ross County travel to third-placed Aberdeen on Friday at 2am (AEDT) while Hearts host Motherwell at the same time. Cameron Devlin (cap #625) could return.

Apostolos Stamatelopoulos (cap #644) also played the first half and scored a goal for Motherwell as they drew 2-2 with Rangers on Monday.

Rangers pushed for a winner to keep the gap on Celtic at 12 points, but they failed in their pursuit against a defiant Motherwell and fell a further two points back in sixth.

Motherwell face Hearts on Friday at 2am (AEDT).

Elsewhere in Scotland, Martin Boyle (cap #599), Lewis Miller (cap #635) and Olyroo Nectarios Triantis all played full games in Hibernian's 1-0 win over Kilmarnock on Monday.

Triantis netted his first goal for Hibs in the 25th minute, before Kilmarnock's chances of continuing their mini-revival took a hit just after the hour mark when they received a red card.

Hibs, who sat bottom of the William Hill Premiership earlier this month, have now climbed 10 points clear of last-placed St Johnstone and are just three points off the top six, having won five of their last six matches.

Hibs prepare to face St Johnstone on Friday at 2am (AEDT).

Ryan Strain (cap #624) could also feature for St. Mirren when they face Kilmarnock on Friday at 2am (AEDT).

Ryan McGowan (cap #546) could feature when Livingston FC travel to Queen's Park FC in the Scottish Championship on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) while Dylan McGowan (cap #590) could also appear for Hamilton Academical when they travel to Greenock Morton at the same time.

In the English Championship, Riley McGree (cap #509) came off the bench in the 73rd minute for Middlesbrough and played alongside Tom Glover in goal as they drew 0-0 with Burnley on Monday.

Boro return to action on Thursday at 4:30am (AEDT) against Hull City.

Samuel Silvera (cap #634) also played 64 minutes for Portsmouth in a 3-0 loss to Bristol City on Monday as Pompy end the year in the bottom three. They host Swansea at 2am (AEDT) on Thursday.

Callum Elder (cap #614) also completed 90 minutes in Derby County’s 1-0 loss to Leeds United on Monday.

Derby travel to Sheffield United on Thursday at 2am (AEDT).

In the Premier League, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) could feature for Ipswich Town when they face Fulham on Monday at 1am (AEDT).

Joe Gauci's (cap #631) Aston Villa face Leicester City on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).

In Serie A, Maty Ryan's (cap #555) for Roma host Lazio on Monday at 6:45am (AEDT) in the Derby della Capitale.

Jason Davidson (cap #545) is likely to feature for Panserraikos in the Greek Super League when they travel to Levadiakos FC on Monday at 12am (AEDT).

In the Indian Super League, Jamie Maclaren (cap #584) should feature alongside Dimitri Petratos (cap #593) and Jason Cummings (cap #626) for Mohun Bagan when they face Hyderabad FC on Friday at 1am (AEDT).
