Socceroos Abroad: Teague debut, Toure grabs assist, Bos completes Eredivisie move

Ryan Teague made his debut in Belgium over the weekend, Mohamed Toure registered an assist and Jordan Bos completed his Netherlands move. 

There were further pre-season minutes for other Socceroos across Europe over the weekend.

Here is how our Socceroos abroad fared this weekend. 

Subway Socceroos

In the Belgian Pro League, Ryan Teague (cap #649) came on in the 73rd minute to make his debut for KV Mechelen as they drew 1-1 with Zulte Waregem on Sunday morning. Teague completed both his passes and made three clearances. 

In transfer news, Jordan Bos (cap #632) signed on with Feyenoord from Belgian side Westerlo, penning a four-year contract. Bos contributed four goals and three assists last season in Belgium. 
 

 


In the Danish Superliga, Mohamed Toure (cap #636) notched an assist in his 69 minutes for Randers as they beat AGF 2-1 on Saturday morning. 

In Serbia, Milos Degenek (cap #585) helped FK Backa Topola keep a clean sheet in their 0-0 draw with Radnik Surdulica, playing a full game.

In MLS, Kye Rowles (cap #622) played all of DC United's 4-2 loss to Austin on Sunday morning.

Elsewhere in the competition, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) played all of Nashville's 2-0 loss to San Diego on Saturday afternoon.

Also, Aiden O'Neill (cap #629) played a full game for New York City in their dramatic 4-3 win over Dallas on Saturday morning.

Finally, Brad Smith (cap #575) was subbed on in the 88th minute of Cincinnati's 0-0 draw with Inter Miami on Saturday. 

To club friendly action, Cameron Devlin (cap #625) starred for Hearts as they downed promoted English Premier League outfit Sunderland on Saturday.
 

 


Apostolos Stamatelopoulos (cap #644) kept his goalscoring run going, netting in Motherwell's 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin on Saturday morning. 

Gethin Jones (cap #639) played 77 minutes for MK Dons as they lost 2-1 to Stevenage on Saturday in a friendly. 

In friendly action in Spain, Awer Mabil (cap #597) played the first half of CD Castellon's 2-1 loss to Alaves on Saturday evening. 

Kusini Yengi (cap #638) played 79 minutes for Aberdeen as they lost 3-1 to Ipswich Town on Saturday in a friendly. 

Joe Gauci (cap #631) played 26 minutes for Aston Villa as they drew 2-2 with Frankfurt on Sunday morning. 

Cameron Burgess (cap #633) played a full game for Swansea as they lost 1-0 to Exeter City on Saturday. 

Portsmouth's Hayden Matthews (cap #648) came on in the 70th minute of their 4-0 victory over Reading on Sunday. 

Meanwhile, Massimo Luongo (cap #575) completed his move to EFL Championship side Millwall over the weekend. The 32-year-old midfielder signed a one-year deal with the side after finishing a stint with recently-relegated English Premier League outfit Ipswich Town. 

In Korea's second tier, John Iredale (cap #640) played from the 57th minute for Seoul E-Land as they beat Suwon Bluewings 2-0 on Sunday.
