Starting with the EFL Championship on Saturday night, Mohamed Toure (cap #636) made a great start to his Norwich City career, scoring The Canaries’ second goal in a 2-0 win against Blackburn. The striker came on after 51 minutes in the game.
Lewis Miller (cap #635) played 76 minutes for Blackburn.
Cameron Burgess (cap #633) helped Swansea City to their second clean sheet in a row, playing a full game as they claimed a 4-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday night.
Adrian Segecic played until the 86th minute of Portsmouth’s 1-0 loss to Preston North End, also on Sunday.
In Germany, Jackson Irvine (cap #568) helped St. Pauli secure a much-needed victory over Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. Irvine played a full game for the side as they moved up to two points away from safety. It was his first start for the German side since returning from injury.
In Denmark, Paul Izzo (cap #650) kept a clean sheet for Randers as they drew 0-0 with Brondby on Monday as they resumed their Superligaen season.
Continuing in Europe, Alessandro Circati (cap #637) put in a solid display for Parma in their 1-0 win against Bologna in Serie A on Sunday night.
In the Eredivisie, Jordy Bos (cap #632) played 82 minutes for Feyenoord in a 1-0 win against Utrecht on Monday morning.
Also in the Netherlands' top-flight, on Sunday morning, Max Balard (cap #652) played a full game for NAC Breda in a 2-0 loss to Excelsior, while Ajdin Hrustic (cap #589) also played all of Heracles' 4-1 loss to NEC Nijmegen.
In more debut action, Kusini Yengi (cap #638) came off the bench in the 71st minute for Cerezo Osaka as they lost to Gamba Osaka on Sunday evening in the first round of the J-League.
J-League matches will be decided by a penalty shootout if the scores are locked at a draw at full-time. Yengi converted his penalty, however, Cerezo went down in the shootout, claiming a single point.
