Elsewhere, Connor Metcalfe played a massive role in St Pauli's first win of the 2.Bundesliga season, Kye Rowles has returned from injury for DC United with two solid performances, and Ante Suto was on the scoresheet for Hibernian.
The Headliners
McGree secures bragging rights over Toure's Norwich
A first-minute goal from Mo Toure wasn't enough for Norwich City, who fell 4-3 in a rollicking match with Middlesbrough.
Toure is fast establishing a reputation as one of the best one-on-one finishers in the EFL Championship and he proved his worth again on the weekend, getting on the end of a through ball and tucking it away neatly. It was his fifth goal of the season so far in all competitions, and his fourth in the Championship, scoring at a rate of one every 110 minutes so far.
However, Middlesbrough soon took control of the game. Riley McGree played a key role, with 63 minutes in attacking midfield to see his side take the lead and eventually score a stoppage time winner to secure the three points.
The Boro are up to fourth on the table while Norwich sit in 12th.
Result: Middlesbrough 4-3 Norwich City
Metcalfe pulls strings for St. Pauli
Connor Metcalfe had a fantastic game for FC St. Pauli on the weekend, helping them secure their first win of the season against Wolfsburg.
The midfielder played 89 minutes in the 1-0 victory. He created two big chances and made five key passes to help St Pauli pile on the pressure and force the result.
There is still a long way to go if they are to find a way to challenge for promotion back into the Bundesliga, having only won once in their first five league games, but Metcalfe will be hoping he can continue his form to lift the side for the remainder of the season.
Result: St Pauli 1-0 Wolfsburg
Big impact role for Kye on injury return
Kye Rowles has had a significant impact for D.C United in the MLS after his injury return, playing two full matches in the past week and helping his side to four points.
He made seven clearances and won four out of four ground duels in their 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew midweek, before making four progressive carries in their scoreless draw with Atlanta United on the weekend.
The 28-year-old missed five matches due to a thigh problem in August but has hit the ground running since returning.
Result: D.C. United 0-0 Atlanta United
Other Standouts
Lucas Herrington continued his impressive run of featuring in every Premier League game so far this season as Hull City maintained their unbeaten start to life back in England's top tier.
The CommBank Socceroo entered the field in the 59th minute as Hull looked to close out an impressive result at Stamford Bridge, before Chelsea's João Pedro equalised to ensure the points were shared.
Result: Chelsea 2-2 Hull City
