In England, Alex Robertson (cap #630) got an assist in Cardiff City’s 2-0 win over Bolton on Saturday to move a step closer to promotion from League One.
Lincoln moved to within four points of the League One title while Cardiff's win extended their lead in the remaining automatic promotion spot to a seemingly unassailable 10 points.
53 - COME ON!!!!! 💙
Willock has taken that so well. Robertson finds him on the wing, Chris runs at his marker, cuts in from the left and curls low into the net off the post!!!! (2-0)#CityAsOne https://t.co/n7jmYtqyk9— Cardiff City FC (@CardiffCityFC) April 11, 2026
Elsewhere in England, Mohamed Toure (cap #636) continued his return from injury, playing the second half for Norwich City in their 2-0 home loss to rivals and promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town on Saturday.
He missed six matches after suffering a groin injury against Sheffield Wednesday in February, but has now featured in three games since returning.
Toure had a second-half opportunity following a pass from Kenny McLean, but dragged his effort wide.
Nestory Irankunda (cap #643) also played the full game in Watford’s 2-0 loss at relegation-battling Oxford United on Sunday.
Cameron Burgess (cap #633) played another full game for Swansea City in a 1-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday.
Harry Souttar (cap #606) was named in Leicester City’s matchday squad for the first time since 2024 but remained an unused substitute as the Foxes’ relegation troubles deepened with a 1–0 home loss to Swansea City.
Souttar has not featured since sustaining an Achilles injury in late 2024, with a subsequent setback further delaying his return.
However, the Socceroos centre-back edged closer to a comeback on Saturday, returning to the Championship squad, though he did not take the field.
Leicester’s defeat leaves them 23rd on the table, four points adrift of safety with just four matches remaining.
Riley McGree (cap #609) also played 85 minutes for Middlesbrough in a 1-0 loss to Portsmouth on Sunday. Sam Silvera (cap #634) was back from injury but did not come off the bench.
The result boosts Pompey's Championship survival hopes and deals a huge blow to the Teessiders' automatic promotion bid.
Middlesbrough have slipped to fourth place in the table and are three points behind second-placed Ipswich, having played two games more.
In League Two, Gethin Jones (cap #639) played 84 minutes in MK Dons’ 2-1 win over Bromley on Saturday.
In Spain's second tier, Awer Mabil (cap #597) came on in the 70th minute in Castellón's 2-2 draw with CD Mirandés on Monday.

In the German Bundesliga, Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) was a 66th-minute substitute for St Pauli in their 5-0 loss to champions-elect Bayern Munich on Sunday.
St Pauli sit 16th on the Bundesliga table, in the relegation play-off spot with five rounds to play.
Jacob Italiano (cap #653) played another full game for Grazer AK in a 1-0 loss to SCR Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga on Sunday.

Moving to the Scottish Premiership, Martin Boyle (cap #599) came on in the 81st minute as Hibernian lost 2-0 to Aberdeen FC on Sunday. Jack Iredale was also forced off in the 19th minute, while Ante Suto came off the bench in the 47th minute.
Nicolas Milanovic (cap #651) was an unused substitute for Aberdeen.
Cameron Devlin (cap #625) played the full game as Heart of Midlothian secured a crucial 3–1 win over Motherwell on Sunday, ensuring they head into the Premiership split at the top of the table.
The result sees Hearts lead the competition entering the first of five post-split fixtures, a position that has proven significant, with every team to do so since 2009 going on to lift the title.
Maintaining that buffer could be vital in the run home, particularly with reigning champions Celtic boasting a favourable fixture run, including a potential final-day showdown between the two sides.
Ryan Strain (cap #624) played the full game for Dundee United in a 3-2 win over Ryan McGowan’s (cap #546) Livingston on Sunday. McGowan was an unused substitute.
