A number of Socceroos Abroad starred in Scotland and England over the weekend, with goal contributions and impressive results for their respective teams.

Competitive seasons also got underway in Spain, Italy and Germany for Aussies.

In the Scottish League Cup over the weekend, several Aussies built their early-season minutes and form.
Kusini Yengi (cap #638) scored his first goal for Aberdeen in a 3-0 win over Greenock Morton on Sunday.
Martin Boyle (cap #599) played 62 minutes and assisted Hibernian's first goal in a 2-0 win against Livingston on Monday. Ryan McGowan (cap #546) played a full game for Livingston.
On Sunday, Keanu Baccus (cap #628) played 83 minutes for St. Mirren in their penalty victory over Hearts. Following a 1-1 draw after extra time, St. Mirren prevailed 5-4 on penalties. Cameron Devlin (cap #625) played a full game for Hearts.
At the same time, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos (cap #644) played until the 117th minute as Motherwell beat St. Johnstone 1-0 after extra time.
Several Socceroos had standout displays in England's Championship, contributing to some critical early results.
