Vukovic produced the Mariners best moment in Tuesday’s match, coming up big to save a Jamie Maclaren penalty in first half stoppage time.
A win on New Years Eve would see the Mariners close the gap at least temporarily on Melbourne City to three points at the top of the table.

Andrew Redmayne’s Sydney FC seek a return to winning ways when they travel to McDonald Jones Stadium to face Newcastle Jets on New Years Day.
The Sky Blues come into Sunday’s clash following back-to-back defeats against Mariners and Macarthur.

The Reds have suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Wellington Phoenix and Newcastle Jets with a stunning Goodwin free-kick against the former their solitary goal from those two matches.
Goodwin has four goals and five assists to his name for the Reds, who sit fifth at the beginning of the round.
