The latest Men's FIFA World Rankings have been released with the Subway Socceroos falling one spot to 24th despite not playing a match since June.
However, the recently concluded UEFA EURO 2024 and the 2024 Copa America has naturally caused some changes with Austria jumping three places into 22nd after a Round of 16 exit in Germany.
Graham Arnold's side (24) along with fellow Asian Football Confederation nations Japan (17) and Korea Republic (23) all dropped one place in the rankings and remain the fourth-highest ranked team from Asia. IR Iran remain 20th in the standings.
