Social media was buzzing on Friday night as Australians followed the scintillating start to the Socceroos’ AFC Asian Cup campaign.
The win over Kuwait represents the first time since 1968 and the seven subsuquent Asian Cup camapigns that the hosts have claimed three points on the opening night.
