Subway Socceroos discover latest FIFA ranking
The Subway Socceroos remain in 27th spot in the latest FIFA Men's Rankings following a narrow defeat to England and 2-0 win over New Zealand.
Australia have occupied 27th spot since post the June window after contests against Argentina and Mexico and again stay in the same position for at least another month following games against the Three Lions and All Whites.
However, Australia remain the fourth best ranked AFC nation after Korea Republic (24), IR Iran (21) and Japan (18).
Graham Arnold's men begin their FIFA World Cup 2026™ Second Round Asian Qualifiers against Bangladesh at Melbourne's AAMI Park and then Palestine in next month's November window.
