The Australian-based Subway Socceroos return to action for Round 14 of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23.
This round of fixtures commences with the 'Big Blue' on Thursday night, while Subway Socceroos will also be involved on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon in what promises to be some really entertaining matches.
Check out our preview below.
Melbourne Victory vs Sydney FC
Sydney FC and Andrew Redymane travel to AAMI Park to take on Melbourne Victory. Both sides are in desperate need of three points in the hope of climbing up the table.
Redmayne was on track to keep a clean sheet against Western United last weekend, but found himself on the receiving end of an Alessandro Diamanti long-range stunner four minutes from time.
Central Coast Mariners vs Western Sydney Wanderers
Jason Cummings is expected to return for the Gosford-based club after missing last weekend's match against Wellington Phoenix through illness.
The Mariners certainly could have used his firepower following a 2-1 defeat which also snapped a three-game winning streak.
Cummings, who has scored five goals in his last seven, remains second in the Golden Boot race with seven goals in 2022/23.
Goalkeeper Danny Vukovic will also be in action between the sticks as Mariners captain.
Melbourne City vs Adelaide United
A total of four Subway Socceroos face-off on Sunday as Melbourne City play host to Adelaide United.
After finding the back of the net in a record 10-straight matches, Jamie Maclaren has been unable to score in his previous two. The talisman, who currently leads the competition with 13 goals will no doubt looking to get back on the scoresheet.
Mathew Leckie and Marco Tilio create a potent City forward the line with the pair providing speed, creativity and service.
Following successive draws, they entertain Craig Goodwin and the Reds, who managed a much needed victory against Macarthur FC. The United captain is integral to their success, indicative of when he is flying, so too are Adelaide.
